1. Vitamins and Minerals

Many children with ADHD do not absorb nutrients well because their digestive systems are not working as well as they could.  Often, they also eat a very limited list of foods.  B vitamins are particularly important because they are crucial for optimal brain health.  Studies show that minerals such as magnesium and zinc help with focus and attention as well.  Our vitamins and minerals were developed specifically for people who need extra brain and digestive support, and will absorb very easily, even if digestion is not optimal.

Some parents and teachers report children “waking up” or becoming less distractible when they start taking well-absorbed vitamins and minerals such as ours.  This suggests that these kids were literally starving for these nutrients, and may not have been able to absorb and utilize them well enough from diet alone.

2. Probiotics

A healthy digestive system contains good flora, which is “good” bacteria that helps it function well.  If you think of the gut like a garden, the good flora is the plants, worms and helpful insects and the bad flora is weeds and destructive bugs.   Probiotics are essentially “seeds” to grow more good flora.   Probiotics add good bacteria, and help it to “take root” and colonize, bringing the gut back in balance.  If children have serious yeast overgrowth and other gut dysbiosis, probiotics alone may not be enough to rectify the situation. Measures such as our Natural Candida Program may be needed to return a healthy bacterial balance to the digestive tract.

3. Essential Fatty Acids (Fish Oil)

Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are considered “essential” because they are needed throughout the human life cycle, cannot be produced in the human body, and therefore must be provided through the diet.  EFAs help with brain and nerve development, cellular communication, oxygenation, metabolism and immune response.   Omega-3 EFAs such as DHA and EPA are particularly important for the brain, the immune system, and to help fight inflammation.  These fatty acids are prominent in brain composition, and many studies show that EFA supplementation can be helpful to cognitive function, behavior, mood and attention.

RECOMMENDED DOSE

ADHD SUPPORT VITAMINS AND MINERALS

Suggested Usage: As a dietary supplement, 2 times a day with food. May mix with water or other beverage.

30-35 lbs      1 tsp each of vitamins and minerals, 2 times a day

50-60 lbs      2 tsp each of vitamins and minerals, 2 times a day

90-100 lbs    3 tsp each of vitamins and minerals, 2 times a day

NOTE: Start at 1/8 full dose and increase slowly.

REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING AND USE WITHIN 3 MONTHS.

BASIC SUPPORT PROBIOTIC FORMULA

1 or 2 capsules daily.  Capsules may be pulled apart and nutrients taken separately.

Storage: Refrigerate and keep tightly closed to maintain product potency.

1. B-Vitamins

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Candida and other intestinal organisms are highly adaptable, and develop a resistance to most things used to fight them. This program centers around a rotation of several natural antifungals, to keep “shifting gears”, so candida doesn’t have time to develop a defense. The program also features the use of enzymes to digest yeast cell walls, support for oxygenation, body pH and the liver, use of probiotics to maintain healthy intestinal flora, and avoidance of dietary sugars, which feed candida. A normal body naturally contains a certain amount of candida and other bacteria at all times. The intention of a program like ours is not to treat or eradicate candida, but to make the environment less hospitable to dysbiosis, so that the body can return to its natural balance.

This program may be helpful to people of any age with candida overgrowth or other gut infections. If the problem is not chronic, the program may work relatively fast, within a month or two. People with normally functioning digestive systems may not need to keep on it for the long term to obtain results. For those with chronic digestive issues, and most children on the autistic spectrum, the program may take considerably longer, and may require occasional repetition, to keep yeast overgrowth under control. The program includes dosage suggestions for both adults and children, and suggestions for those who are sensitive to phenols.
