Spectrum Support III (SSIII) is our upper-tier vitamin and mineral supplement designed to provide safe, broad-spectrum nutritional support for children and adults on the Spectrum needing the highest level of neurological and metabolic support.  SSIII contains all the ingredients found in Spectrum Support I and II, plus additional quantities of many of these nutrients for high intensity detoxification and nutritional support.

Spectrum Support III comes in two sizes 16oz or 32oz. In the 32-ounce size, the bottle provide over a two month supply for a 25 pound child, a one month supply for a 50 pound child, or a 23 day supply for a 100 pound child.  These supplements are in the form of a kid-friendly, easy to dose liquid suspension.  Spectrum Support III Vitamins is designed to be mixed together and given 3 times a day, with meals, either in juice or other beverage, or alone with a glass of water afterward.

Spectrum Support I is a metabolic and neuronutrient support liquid vitamin formula designed for children and adults who do not need the greater intensity of the Spectrum Support II and III products. It contains the same synergistic blend of 33 vitamins, accessory nutrients and herbs as our other spectrum support formulas, but with lower doses of B6, B12 and folinicacid. Spectrum Support I is also an excellent choice for family members of those on the spectrum.

The Spectrum Support Minerals are chemically bound to amino acids to enhance cellular energy production. These minerals are extremely well absorbed, utilized, and tolerated, more so than minerals bound to sulfate, oxide, carbonate, or chloride.  All our mineral formulas do not contain iron or copper, as many individuals on the spectrum have issues with metals.   Supplementation of copper and iron should be based on individual need, working with a medical practitioner. Our Spectrum Support Minerals are made without any added flavors; they are not available in Lemon Lime.

START-UP SUGGESTIONS

Spectrum Support I is a good start-up choice for the following:

1. People with attention or focus difficulties, who not have more involved digestive or neurological challenges.
2. A person on the autistic spectrum who is on the way to recovery and no longer needs higher doses of the B vitamins.
3. An individual who has problems taking B vitamins in higher doses.

We suggest that those starting with Spectrum Support I give a trial of Spectrum Support II with PAK after a few months, to see if the child could benefit from the extra nutritional support. Children can then transition over time to SSII and SSIII over time, as desired. The suggested dosage is based upon specific ratios of milligrams of the nutrients to kilograms of body weight and can be adjusted for anyone from 25 to 200 pounds. Introduction or transition to Spectrum Support I is done gradually, over a period of 16 days to allow the body to adjust to the new
formula and the nutritional support it provides.

B vitamins are crucial for healthy nervous system function, energy production and digestion. Our B-complex provides B vitamins in biologically appropriate dosages, designed for stress and energy support. This formula offers excellent absorption, and it’s free of allergens and other ingredients that might irritate sensitive systems, so it’s well tolerated, even by very sensitive people who may have trouble taking B vitamins in other forms.

One of the most common doctor recommendations to women under stress is to take a B-Complex vitamin. This formula is a perfect choice. With a small once-a-day dose, this formula fits easily into a busy lifestyle.  We recommend that you take a multivitamin supplement with minerals daily in addition to our B-Complex, to giive your body other needed nutrients.

All of the B vitamins work synergistically, and each has different functions in the body, so it’s best to take a full B complex rather than just a few individual vitamins. The body cannot store large amounts, so B vitamins must be continuously replaced in the body. Alcohol, tea, coffee, sugar and some medications deplete B vitamins, and they can also be run down due to stress.

SUGGESTED USAGE:

Adults take 1 tablespoon early in the day, with food. Child’s dose is 1/2 to 1 tablespoon per day. May be divided into 2-3 doses for ideal absorption. Take last dose before 4pm if sleep disturbance is seen.

Please start B-Complex at a low dose and increase gradually over a period of 1 to 2 weeks, to give the body time to adjust. People often report feeling a little nervous or restless when they increase their B vitamin dosage. This effect should pass in a few days. Everyone has different needs, so reduce your dosage or split it into multiple doses with meals if excessive restlessness or sleeplessness is noted.

Children on the autistic spectrum often do well on a higher dose of B vitamins than other individuals, and may require the full adult dosage. Please consult your health practitioner as needed.

NOTE:

B vitamins are water soluble, so the body will excrete excess amounts.  B vitamins can turn urine a bright fluorescent yellow, which is perfectly normal.

What Is It?

Active Folate represents an innovative dietary supplement designed to act as a nutrient in all areas where Folic acid and Folate metabolism is impaired.

Human cannot synthesize and because of its water soluble nature, the body stores to a limited extent. Unfortunately Folates contained in foods are unstable and susceptible to oxidation; they rapidly lose activity during food processing.

After ingestion of from food or supplements they are metabolized to 5-, the active form of the B-vitamin folic acid (the form found in this supplement).

How common Folate Deficiency is

deficiency represents one of the most common nutritional deficiencies and may occur with inadequate dietary intake or when an increased need is not matched by an increased intake (particular physiological conditions such as pregnancy, lactation, child growth). Another occurrence is altered absorption/excretion (or losses) and when metabolism or certain drug use interferes with the ability of the body to use Folate.
